‍‍‍With a family of five, this former bungalow, now converted into a two-storey, with rear addition, 2000 sq.ft. dwelling located in East York.  Working within the confides of the existing floor plate and having a lot frontage of less than 10 meters, the challenge was to incorporate a program which necessitates the families needs.  In keeping with current trends, the main floor is an open space concept with a large kitchen island as the centerpiece to the main floor.  The family room, kitchen and dining room seamlessly blends into a single space.  The second floor has t‍‍‍wo bedrooms with a shared bathroom.  Lastly, the rear half of the second floor is reserved for the privacy of the master amenities.

With limited funds the design was revised multiple times during construction.  At the same time, Project 708 was not included within the interior scope and selection of finishes.  However, we are truly  pleased with the final outcome
